This was a game I attempted to make over 3 months, being from July 2023 to September 2023. It was a Metroidvania based around a goose going through some caves that were corrupted and ruined by a mysterious force.
During development, the game went smoothly, however during the beginning planning was rough and also non-existent, leading to more struggles later on in the development as I did not know where to go, and when college started up, I got distracted with other projects and development on that game faded.
This was a game I started to make to allow myself to learn Godot 4, which was the newer and more updated version of the engine that I was using at the moment, preparing for an upcoming game jam.Â
I had planned to create the game based around the twilight zone of the ocean, where you could only place tower within lighted areas, and having direct control of a submarine emitting a light.
The reason why this one stopped development was because the game jam I was preparing for had begun.
